Housing ranges

The source lists TRY 4,000–20,000 per month for a campus public or university dorm and TRY 12,000–60,000 for a private Ankara dorm. They are different housing types and are not merged into one definite average.

A three-person rental near the university is TRY 35,000–60,000 for the whole flat. A per-person result is derived from the sharing assumption you choose; a new person count does not create a new market price.

Transport and phone

A student pass is listed at TRY 400–600 per month and a mobile phone at TRY 400–800. These are the explicit ranges in the source; no other communication or transport price is added.

The source also gives TRY 8,000–15,000 per month as a basic living estimate excluding housing. Adding this bundle to individual food, utility, and transport items in the same scenario would double count.

Do not invent what is missing

The source summaries of campus dorm/economy TRY 12,000–18,000, shared flat/mid TRY 20,000–35,000, and alone/comfortable TRY 40,000+ may not use the same assumptions as the component ranges. We do not turn them into a definite average.

Scope conditions: The Ankara 2026 scope covers university and private dorm prices per person; a three-person flat rent of 35,000–60,000 TL is a household total. Transport is 400–600 TL per student per month. Phone is 400–800 TL and phone only, not all utilities; other missing bills are your own input.

Source quality describes how clearly a source states its scope and date. It does not guarantee that a price is current or independently verified; read the assumptions separately.: The full publication details are unknown. The midpoint is a mathematical midpoint, not a market average. The basic 8,000–15,000 TL summary excludes accommodation and must not be double-counted with its components; the original range and assumptions are not one average.
