Clear planning for student budgets
Build your budget
City, life, real costs
KampüsBütçesi helps you build a monthly plan around your city and living arrangement. See sourced values, change assumptions, and compare scenarios.
Amounts are in TRY. A source date is not the same as today’s price; old or missing data is labelled clearly.

Choose your city
See the source scope for Istanbul and Ankara; check the data boundary for other cities.
Shape your arrangement
Choose a dorm, shared flat, or family home; adjust people and spending assumptions.
Compare scenarios
Review monthly living costs, the period total, and the cash needed at the start.
Cities
Same city, different lives
Start with scoped sources, then add your own inputs to build a budget that fits you.
Istanbul
İPA · 2024/25 Historical reference
Ankara
ODTÜ · 2026 Publication date unknown
Izmir · Eskişehir No numeric source
Make the source visible
Each reference shows its data period, scope, and date status separately. An access date does not make a price current.
Think side by side
Create up to three city and living-arrangement scenarios; keep monthly, period, and starting payments distinct.
Change your assumptions
Edit your rent share, household costs, or living items. Your personal input does not silently replace the source value.

Questions to ask while researching options
Compare options that fit your budget not only by amount, but also by the learning and everyday work experience they may offer you.
- Does the everyday work in this field interest me?
- Which strengths do I want to use?
- How can I research two budget-fitting options through both their education and everyday work?

A quick, safe starting point
Choose a starting arrangement, then edit your own costs in the calculator. These links set only city and housing context; they do not carry personal amounts.
- Ankara · university dorm Open an empty budget scenario with a campus-dorm context.
- Istanbul · shared flat Set the sharing assumption around your own household and rent share.
- Compare housing options Use the guide to understand people/household scope and starting cash.
- Review food and transport Learn why bundled estimates should not be added to the same individual items.
No amount is loaded automatically. You choose any sourced example separately and explicitly inside the calculator.

Short questions, clear answers
Why do old prices still appear?
Some sources are historical or have an unknown publication date. Refreshing an access date does not turn an old amount into today’s price; its data period and scope stay visible. You can load a reference explicitly and replace it with your own input.
Why is a missing item not treated as zero?
Missing information and a real zero are different. An empty item leaves a subtotal of entered costs with an incomplete-budget warning. If you want zero, enter it as an explicit personal assumption.
How is a household rent total divided?
Only an amount entered as a household total is divided by the number of people. A rent amount already stated per person is not divided again; the distinction remains in the result and source notes.
How do local saving and JSON import work?
Optional saving keeps a scenario in this device’s local storage. An exported JSON should be imported only when it matches the validated scenario shape; local saving does not send your budget to a remote account. The calculator still works if browser storage is unavailable.
Do I have to go to Reflektif?
No. The Reflektif link is a voluntary option offered after budget planning. Reflektif helps you think through education or career options using interests, personality tendencies, and values; KampüsBütçesi does not match prices to personality and does not transfer budget data.
KampüsBütçesi supports Reflektif.net as an optional next step for exploration. Budget data is not transferred between the two products. Going to Reflektif is optional. KampüsBütçesi does not send personal budget amounts; a referral may contain only fixed source, placement, and language information.
